Overview

Il Est Écrit approached Jocoin Studios seeking a complete digital transformation for their nonprofit multimedia ministry. Their previous website lacked coherence, modern UI standards, and intuitive content structure. Despite hosting hundreds of vidéos chrétiennes, podcasts, devotionals, and spiritual articles, users struggled to navigate the platform effectively.

The project objective was to rebuild the website on a stronger UX foundation while implementing a comprehensive SEO strategy tailored to Québec’s seasonal spiritual search trends. The new platform needed to reflect the organization’s identity as a plateforme multimédia chrétienne and improve visibility for key content such as video seasons, biblical studies, and meditation resources.

Process

Jocoin Studios reconstructed the website from the ground up with a user-centered approach. The new design improved clarity, consistency, and browsing efficiency, resulting in a 50% improvement in navigability. Visitors can now access content such as Saisons, Autres Séries, and Baladodiffusion chrétienne more intuitively, allowing the ministry to showcase its multimedia catalogue effectively.

SEO Strategy Development

A complete SEO strategy was implemented, built on detailed research into Québec’s online spiritual search patterns. Using Google Trends insights, Jocoin Studios identified that interest in Christian and biblical terms spikes seasonally, particularly around Christmas, Easter, and the end of the year.

This insight shaped a dual SEO model:

  • Evergreen optimization for core pages
  • Seasonal landing pages targeting high-interest periods (e.g., hope at Christmas, Easter messages, anxiety support, Bible understanding)

Each main page received rewritten metadata, structured headings, optimized focus keyphrases, improved alt text, and internal linking enhancements. Content categories such as vidéos chrétiennes and méditations chrétiennes were reorganized to increase clarity and search relevance.

Content Architecture & Internal Linking

The internal linking model was redesigned to guide visitors naturally through related topics and strengthen SEO authority. Themes such as biblical reflections, spiritual guidance, testimonies, and multimedia series are now interlinked, offering a more cohesive experience.

The category structure—including Saisons, Autres Séries, and Baladodiffusion chrétienne—was refined to support future scalability.
